Our Story

We believe everyone is a creator. Our goal is to help a million
people earn from their creativity by 2022 ETC.

The process

In 2015 EC, when we embarked on the journey of designing Ye-Buna, our aim was to simplify the process and provide creators with an easy way to receive payments and engage with their fans. To date, there hasn't been any platform that effectively addresses this issue in our country.

The inception of the concept arose during my university years at Gondar, where I pursued studies in Electrical and Computer Engineering. It was during this time that I encountered influential platforms such as Patreon and GoFundMe. While recognizing their potency, it became apparent that their full functionality was not viable within our national context.

This realization prompted a fundamental question: "Why not endeavor to create a platform tailored to our needs?" Thus, in 2013, the seeds of the idea were sown. By 2015, I had commenced active development, culminating in the comprehensive realization of the project by 2016.

Ye-Buna emerged as a multifaceted endeavor, encompassing features such as shop, membership, donation, email marketing, charite, and crowd-sourced funding mechanisms, among others.
